Now that we're officially booked and we have our project start date on the calendar, it's time to prepare for our branding collaboration.

A few things I need from you to officially get rolling

FIRST THINGS FIRST…
LET’S GET YOU SET UP IN Asana!
Asana is the project management tool we'll use during our collaboration. Consider it our project hub, where we'll do all of our communication, share files, and stay organized throughout our time together!
You should see an invite in your inbox now. Please accept it and make a free account to see our project.
1. Watch Tutorial + Get Oriented
Once you're inside Asana, watch the tutorial to the left and then take a few minutes to click around and get familiar with our project timeline and tasks. For starters, click on the task that says, "Complete Branding Workbook- CLICK ME!" to access your digital Branding Workbook.
2. Tasks + Timeline
After I see you're inside our project, I'll assign your tasks. Know that the deadlines I have in place are meant to help keep us on track and moving forward. If we get off schedule by a couple days, no biggie!
3. Email Notifications
Any comment or file added to Asana will result in an email notification to the person who is "tagged” (use the @ symbol, like on social media). You can simply reply to those email notifications and your response will be added as a comment in that task. OR follow the link in the email to reply right in Asana.

It’s important that we’re developing your visual brand from a place of strategy and alignment. Your Brand Strategy Workbook and the exercises within it were designed to help us do just that and ensure we both have clarity around your brand foundation before we dive into the design.
Inside your Workbook, you’ll complete exercises to help you hone in on your mission, business values, goals, target audience, place in the market, and your vision for your new visual brand.
This business soul searching doesn’t and shouldn’t come overnight. The deeper you go, the more successful our collaboration and the final product will be. Give yourself time and space to think things through, and don’t wait until the last minute to begin!
To access your workbook: Head over to the “Complete Branding Workbook - CLICK ME!” task inside our Asana project (left column).

LET’S BOOK YOUR KICKOFF CALL!
When you’re ready, please schedule our Brand Clarity + Project Kickoff Call at a time that works best for you (see my email to confirm our project kickoff date). During this 90-minute call, we will talk through your Branding Workbook and do fun brand strategy exercises together that help bring focus and clarity to your brand foundation, AND how that relates to where we’re going visually with your brand.
After scheduling, you’ll be sent a Zoom link in your confirmation email.

PREPARE TO LAUNCH YOUR NEW BRAND!
Photography
Photography plays a big role in communicating your personality and brand. The overall vibe of your new brand will help determine the aesthetic and feel of your photography, but it doesn't hurt to start thinking about it now.
Hiring a photographer? Schedule a photoshoot for toward the end of our collaboration or after we wrap up. This way, your photographer can align the vibe of the photos with your new visual brand. Minnesota-based clients, let me know if you'd like some suggestions/referrals for local photographers!

Website Design
I have incredible website design partners who can take what we create together and build you a new gorgeous online home... and all with a seamless transition from branding with me to the website phase.
