About the client

Amana Financial is an accounting firm that provides accounting, tax, and financial services to hardworking minorities and small business owners nationwide. Amana does more than checking the box for compliance — they seek to truly understand each business and individual they work with, so they can craft the most customized financial solution that allows their clients to keep more of their hard earned money. Sadiq, Amana’s owner and founder, is committed to educating clients and helping them understand their financial situation from a holistic point of view, in hopes of being a catalyst for making better financial decisions that support their long-term goals.

About the brand

After building a consistent client base over the past 8 years and officially diving into full-time business ownership in early 2022, Sadiq was ready for a complete brand identity that spoke to his high-touch client experience and expertise, as well as helped him develop credibility in the market, trust among clients, and confidently grow his client portfolio and his educational offerings.

We focused on creating a blend of simple yet strong, warm yet professional, and timeless yet contemporary. The main logo lettering is heavy yet rounded, which creates that bold and approachable combo we were after, with the secondary font bringing a more delicate and polished touch. The brand mark symbol (made up of rotated a’s from the logo lettering) resembles a flower, evoking optimism, growth, and speaking to financial wellness. The touches of greenery and nature-inspired elements in the photography further speaks to this, as well as Sadiq’s holistic approach. The patterns, textures and architecture-inspired photos - in combination with the logo and symbol - create a multi-cultural, global feel that was important to Sadiq and speaks directly to his target market.
