ABOUT THE CLIENT

Falderal Libations is a craft soda company here in the Twin Cities, founded by three college friends whose creativity, energy, and dedication to their new business blew me away… their passion and clarity around their brand truly shows in the final design. And let me tell you from experience that these guys’ sodas (which, by the way, are brewed by juicing fruits directly and adding herbs) are DELICIOUS. They really have something special.

We aimed for developing a bold visual identity that speaks to the company’s fun personality, as well as their creative and experimental approach to their craft. This is directly reflected in the brand’s vibrant color palette and dynamic lettering, which gives the logos, marks, and patterns eye-catching and unique movement. We also gave a nod to the founders’ Minnesota roots by creating their main iris mark, inspired by the northern lights.

Falderal Libations soda and their handcrafted nonsense hit local farmers markets in 2020. I feel honored to have been a part of their journey and helping them get started on the right foot with a beautiful brand identity.
